Market surveillance

Market surveillance involves checking compliance with all legislative requirements for products (including labeling and testing) placed on the market, and removing dangerous products from the market.

Market surveillance is conducted according to sectoral market surveillance plans, which are approved annually by market surveillance authorities based on their areas of responsibility.

It is carried out by the relevant department of the State Service of Ukraine for Medicines and Drug Control.
